POWERGRID Europe 2009 Show - 26th - 28th May, Cologne, Germany
Cologne, May 28th 2009 – The 2009 POWER-GEN Europe, POWERGRID Europe and Renewable Energy World Europe conference and exhibition closed on high note with over 11,600 visitors over the three day event. With over 450 exhibitors occupying some 35,000 sq metres, the combined shows proved to be an excellent platform to present new technological solutions and open up networking opportunities.
Exhibitors at the three events were unanimous in their praise for PennWell’s organization with many describing it as “On of the best run shows in the world for the power industry. Others like Anette Titzmann from Alstom declared: “The economic downturn appears to have made little impact on the power plant industry. We are very satisfied with the number of visitors and the qualified contacts”. Jussi Kuusela, Metso Wärtsilä noticed an increased interest in Biomass Solutions for medium sized companies: Potential clients from Eastern Europe showed great interest enthusiasm for our solutions.
